Ride with ARTcycle Inc., Sydney
We are always looking to provide the best informed, most interesting, and genuine rides, tours and events for members and guests.
ARTcycle is a legally incorporated association and bicycle user group affiliated with Bicycle New South Wales, the peak advocacy body for commuter and recreational cycling in New South Wales.
Full membership of ARTcycle Inc., is available and renewed annually. Membership is $1 with a $20 annual subscription.
Temporary ARTcycle membership is available, $10 for each event. After three fee paying events your temporary membership will be converted to a full annual membership.
We encourage all BUG members to become a member of Bicycle New South Wales. BNSW offers discount for eligible BUG members to join BNSW. Benefits include insurance and free legal advice, see the website for details. Add your voice to create a better NSW for people on bicycles and all road users.
Occasional “test rides” enable us to tweak rides according to feedback from participants and venues.
- ARTcycle rides are free unless otherwise stated,
- ARTcycle ride leaders are Bicycle NSW trained and accredited ride leaders.
- We ride to the NSW Transport for NSW Road Rules.
- An approved Australian Standards bicycle helmet is required. No helmet, no ride. No exceptions.
- Please ensure your bike is in good working order.
- Bring – your mobile phone, a spare tube, a pump, tyre levers and any other tools you may require, a full water bottle, money for food and/or fares.
- Maps are advisory – we ride to the conditions, the route may vary on the day.
- BNSW sanctioned rides will be listed on the Bicycle New South Wales Ride Calendar.
- ARTcycle rides, tours and events will appear on the ARTcycle MeetUp web page.
